| DiscoverDance is a class for anyone with an interest to explore dance in a fun, energetic and creative way within a relaxed and friendly environment. Learn different dance styles whilst toning up and developing dance skills such as rhythm, co-ordination, flexibility and strength.

Our classes swing and jive classes have been in full swing (pardon the pun) for the last two weeks. It's not too late though to join in this term. I have added below some information about the Retro Tea Dance, which is on the 21st of December in the Ulster hall. With 6 weeks to go why not get yourself down to Queens SU on a Thursday night from 8pm and learn some moves that will have you dancing all night !

Hope you're all doing well, we've been having some great classes at the SU Thursday nights!
Just wanted to let you all know that we will be starting a new beginner class NEXT Thurs, 1 Nov, 8pm in the Snackbar (2nd floor) at the Student's Union. Our current classes will be running alongside as normal. Cost is £6/class (£5 students).

Great news ! Starting Tuesday 16th of October west coast swing classes will be in Rainbow Belfast ! That's both beginners and improvers .
The format for the evening will run as follows .........
7pm doors open
7:15 beginners class
8:15 -8:30 break / practice
8:30 improvers /progressive class
9:30-10 freestyle .
Price : £6 per class
: £8 for both classes

Just wanted to send another quick note to say that we will be in the Snackbar (large, loft-like space) on the 2nd floor of the Student's Union this week! Sorry for all the confusion, but the fresher's fair is over now, so all should be back to normal. It does happen sometimes that the SU has to give priority to other groups so we have to move around - if ever in doubt, check with the front desk as they will always know where we are. ...more |

Due to last week's confusion I wanted to send a quick email to say that this week's beginner and improver Swing & Jive classes will be held in clubrooms 3&4 (same as last week), on the 3rd floor in the Student's Union at 8pm, followed by our swing practice/social at 9pm.

Next Wednesday (at 8pm, 8th Aug) we will be restarting WCS classes in the Windsor Lawn Tennis Club. We are delighted to say that the classes will be taken by Shane McKeever who has been dancing WCS at competition level for many years. Shane has moved to Belfast to further his study in dance. No WCS tonight, next class Saturday 7th April From Richard H Turner |
| Dear all,
Just a quick reminder that there will be no West Coast Swing tonight (Wednesday 28th) as our venue is booked up tonight. We are also breaking for April for Easter and we'll back for another set of classes in May.
If you need your West Coast Swing fix then there will be a class and dancing at the Windsor, the first Saturday of April, the 7th. We will have a class form 8pm, followed by some music for you to practice to.

Improver's WCS classes start Wednesday night From Richard H Turner |
| Hey all
Just a quick reminder that we are running a set of improver's WCS classes on Wednesday night, over the next three weeks, (14th/21st/28th March).
These three weeks, since you have mastered the basics so well, we will concentrate on moves that differentiate WCS as a dance form. We will be working on lead and follow, stretches and catching the breaks in the music.
Windsor Tennis Club, 8-9pm, Wednesdays.

Our current beginners class will not be effected and will continue at the same time. The new beginner class will be a separate class.
