No WCS this week and Glitter & Sparkle this Sunday
Just to let everyone know that the Church Hall, on Elmwood Avenue for the WCS is not available for this Wednesday 5th May, so there will be no West Coast Swing Classes. We will be back, as usual, on the following Wednesday, the 12th May.
To add to your social calendar, just to let you know that this weekend, as part of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, in Custom House Square there will be a chance to come down and dance some Jive and Lindy Hop Dancing for anybody who is interested. The event kicks off at 7.30pm and has a naughty, I mean nautical theme, of 'Cruise Ships', so ahoy matey! get your sea legs down to Custom House Square this Sunday.
If you are foot loose and fancy free the night of Wednesday 5th of May and would like to come dancing, there is an excellent Latin Band playing at the Norhtern Whig on Bridge Street. This Mexican night is in aid of Project Zambia, a charity event and will consist of a beginners Salsa class (for those of you who have never danced this before) and a live Latin Band, as an extra incentive there will also be a free bottle of Corona, from our lovely sponsors to get you started.
If youre very lucky you may even win a prize of free salsa lessons from the wonderful people at SalsaBelfast.
Hope you can make it, as it will be a bit of fun and for a very good cause. Please make whatever donation you can on the door for Project Zambia.
Hopefully see you at the Whig.
