| Hello Swing Dancers!
We are pleased to announce we will be running a new beginner class THIS Thursday 9th of May at the Queen's Students Union. It will start at 8pm and cost £6/£5 students. As this class will run over the course of several weeks we urge anyone looking to start to either join this week or next week. We run the class as part of the Crescent Arts Centre dance program and their term has finished. Marie & Jacinta - will go over the 8 beat Lindy & Charleston (practicing
the moves learned to date and introducing some variations) working on
how to combine them into sequences for social dancing.

| Swing classes in Madison’s restart tomorrow (Tuesday 24th July) at 8pm. We will start working on some 6 beat swing which is a very versatile dance. It can be combined with lindy or danced to faster jive and rock n’roll music. We have covered a lot of Lindy Hop and Charleston in the last few weeks and now we need to practise.
